Another big player in the realm of third parties is The Green Party. According to the Green’s website, Ralph Nadar and Cynthia McKinney are among the party’s former candidates. Their platform encompasses “ecological wisdom, grassroots democracy, social justice and nonviolence,” the Wellsboro Gazette reported. I’m curious as to what “grassroots democracy” means to this party and what that would look like if one of their candidates was elected. The phrase “social justice” is equally intriguing.
